  • The next CWFIMA Training academy has been scheduled for the Summerr session.

    Regular Registration Fee: $79 per day (prior to May 10th))

    • Late Registration Fee:  $89 per day (if after May 10)
  •  Below is a full listing of each course provided during the 2019 Summer Training Session with a brief description.

  • TRAINEE POSITIONS

    The following trainee positions will be available at the 2019 Summer academy (if a position is not listed there is not any availability for that specific position). All trainees will work on taskbooks and receive experience in their specific position. To apply click the "T" button below.

    • $45 per day (includes breakfast, lunch & dinner)
    • You must attend a minimum of 4 days

    • Each position has a maximum number of trainees (see positions below). This maximum is per day per position, not per academy.
    • http://training.nwcg.gov/sect_task_books.htm, all applicants will be notified of their acceptance (or contacted with an explanation if not accepted)
    • As this is a planned event, no taskbooks will be completed or recommendations made for final certification.
    • An evaluation with completed tasks will be provided for each trainee
    • Bring your position kit, if you have one, and your initiated PTB.
  • Registration for the Colorado Wildland Fire and Incident Management Academy (CWFIMA) is open to anyone wishing to attend, however, priority is given to agency employees.
