Below is a full listing of each course provided during the 2017 Summer Training Session with a brief description. 

Courses descriptions for all classes being held at the upcoming academy can be found below. They describe the basic class and include the pre-requisite requirements.

Location: University of Colorado, Colorado Springs

Academy Dates: January 7-13, 2017

  • Set up begins January 6th at 1500

Exhibit booth fee schedule
  *Fees include breakfast, lunch & dinner for 1 (each additional space will include meals for 1 additional person)

  • 8' x 10' booth space = $350.00
    Additional spaces = $100.00 per space
  • Table top space = $250.00.
  • Additional meal tickets = $25.00 per person – per day
  • Additional outside space = $50.00

Lodging:

  • Host hotel is the Marriott for $70 per night.  We also have the option of the Hyatt House for those of you wanting a full kitchen for the same price.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

To register online, please read the following vendor agreement. Once you have read it, click the "I accept" link and it will take you to our online registration form.

Not all classes have pre-work. Any non-NWCG course with pre-work can be accessed through the document library under course pre-work file.

  • Click on the link below which will take you to the website where you can download the course pre-work files.
  • Complete prior to class.
  • Bring completed pre-work to class unless otherwise instructed on you Resource Order. (Resource Order will be emailed to you after registration has been reviewed and approved).

Registration for the Colorado Wildland Fire and Incident Management Academy (CWFIMA) is open to anyone wishing to attend, however, priority is given to agency employees. Nominations (Student Registration) are required and must be filled out completely or they will not be processed.
