Registration for the Colorado Wildland Fire and Incident Management Academy (CWFIMA) is open to anyone wishing to attend, however, priority is given to agency employees.
Students are able to register On-Line for the upcoming Academy. Please read the following information prior to completing the Student Registration Application.
The following trainee positions will be available at the 2019 Summer academy (if a position is not listed there is not any availability for that specific position). All trainees will work on taskbooks and receive experience in their specific position. To apply click the "T" button below.
We provide two training sessions during the year. One in January for our "Winter Academy" and the "Summer Academy" which is held the first week of June.
A preliminary schedule will be posted for the Winter Academy will be available late summer and the schedule for the Summer Academy will be available mid-winter.

We are always looking for new agency, departmental or professional membership organizations to join our growing list of Academy partners. We feel it is important for our students to see this kind of professional endorsement for the Academy and their efforts in undertaking their essential training.
As a non-profit, the CWFIMA relies in part on external supporters to maintain the quality of the program.
